An update about COVID-19

  • We are expecting to reopen on 4th July 2020

  • We will have sufficient precautions in place to ensure your safety. Please familiarise yourself with them below:

Hello,

We hope you are keeping safe and well.

As always it’s good to be in touch. As we move closer towards the day we can welcome you back to the salon, we want to share with you some of what we are preparing for your safety. We would like to thank those of who have kindly filed out our online form to help guide our safety changes based on what actions you as our customer would like to see us implement. At present, salons such as Halo are set to reopen on the 4th of July. However, please be aware this date may change under the guidance of the Government. If it does, we will endeavour to contact you accordingly.

The team have been expanding their knowledge and certifications in sanitation procedures to fight the COVID-19 virus. They are currently being briefed regarding the changes we will be making.

Things will be a little different when we return, but we promise to welcome you back with our usual warm smiles. Please find below some of the changes we’re making to ensure we keep your safety one of our top priorities during this time:

  • The team will be wearing face coverings and when you arrive.

  • We will ask you to kindly use our sanitisation station to clean your hands. Please don’t be offended; it’s simply so we keep the inside of Halo as clean as possible throughout each day.

  • If weather permits and if it's warm enough, we may place some seats just outside the door (if the sun is shining). We will only do this if the salon shows signs of welcoming too many people at once, but we will do our best to prevent this through our booking system.

  • When you arrive, we will guide you to your sanitised styling station where your disposable towel will be set out.

  • Where possible, we will check you out from your station, but as always, if you wish to book another appointment or purchase a product after your service, we will ensure the reception area is clear for your turn.

  • You will notice we will be using a green and red signal system so you will know what has been sanitised.

  • We will be undertaking pre-appointment consultations when necessary to ensure we have the correct service booked out for each guest and we can plan our time so that we do not run over and create situations of too many people in the salon at one time.

  • We will be temporarily pausing our refreshment service, so encourage you to bring tea or coffee.

  • Lastly, we will be working extended hours to ensure we can accommodate as many customers as we can while remaining socially distant throughout the day.

We believe these changes will make Halo run smoothing during this time, but as always, if there are any specific requests you have, please do let us know and we will do to best to accommodate you.

There are somethings we may have to ask of you, for example, to keep your jacket by your styling station, or on the empty seat adjutant to you; which will remain empty to comply with social distancing. It may also be beneficial to bring a pen with you if you believe we will require you to fill out a form or give written consent.

In the meanwhile, please remember that should you need product recommendations or advice about your hair we can deliver your favourite products to your door. Simply contact us by email or send us a message on social media.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Halo soon.

With best wishes,

The Halo team
